Body Image is a Spiritual Issue
“I want a nose job,” would be my next thought.
Thankfully my parents refused. They told me it was part of my identity and where I came from. A stamp of my heritage and a token left behind by those who have gone before me.
I made it through the formative years, but not without other types of battle scars along the way. I just managed to avoid taking one in the face by ducking and weaving from the lies that came against my nose for many, many years.
Oh, to know the power of our own thoughts, which either lead to the construction of life or the destruction of life.
"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit" Proverbs 18:21

God is After Your Heart
Nobody has lied to us more than ourselves. We can desire all the NEW things we want, but until our mouths and our own self-talk come into agreement with our creator God, the God of yes and abundantly more, we will continue to run on the treadmill of life at time warp speeds, trying to chisel away at our own masterpiece.
God put down his chisel and called you good on the outside. Now all he wants is our hearts. Those things are constantly under construction and a work in progress.
As our hearts are reshaped, reformed, and fashioned, our view of our bodies can align with what he commands.
Body image is a belief issue. Not a body issue.

Also, because there is GREAT power in movement yoked to God’s truth, the workout below is made to inspire us all to remember WHO holds the rights to our identity.
Beauty can not be measured or contained. It spills forth like a good wine, song, and dance.
