Journey To The Manger Faith And Fitness Challenge

Journey To The Manger Faith And Fitness Challenge

*Post updated October 2022

The weather here in Arizona has finally turned! It’s a chilly 65 degrees, and I’ve unrolled my big, puffy jacket from the corner of my closet.

I know…I know…for those of you who will travel to and fro through the snow for the next six months or so, I will pipe down.

I think we can all agree on one thing; it’s the most wonderful time of the year! And we also know it can be the busiest time of the year if we don’t intentionally take the time to soak in the real reason for the season.

We wanted to share this lovely little idea that sprouted up on our Revelation Wellness Instructor Family Facebook page.

One of our Instrcutors was just wrapping up her Wellness Revelation group, where everyone agreed that they didn’t want to lose the momentum or the newfound freedom they had gained through the study. (Community has a powerful way of creating sustainable momentum).

Someone in the group had heard about a book titled “Journey To The Manger,” and before you know it, they had created their own little wellness challenge!

Journey To The Manger Faith And Fitness Challenge

Move your heart closer to Jesus each day for the next 25 days!

Most scholars say the distance that Mary and Joseph traveled to get to Bethlehem was around 90 miles.

For the next 25 days, we challenge you to move your heart closer to God through movement, study, or stillness. Try moving your body with a Reving The Word podcast, or a RevWell TV workout. Or spend INTENTIONAL time centering your heart on the gift of Jesus. It all counts as a good thing.

Every 15-minutes you spend drawing closer to the heart of God by moving your body or being still before the Lord, you move one mile closer to the manger.

Just this morning, I moved three miles closer and checked off three boxes on my #JourneyToTheManger worksheet 🙂 Join me!

She believes in the power of the Body Of Christ and its many unique parts making up one complete whole. Like any body, it grows best under tension. We are living in the best of times for tension. Let’s train!
