The Winds of Change

The Winds of Change

People have been asking me lately, “How’s it going with the book?” My reply is still one of wonderment and awe. I still can’t believe it is out there and that people are picking it up and returning home to the heart of God who makes all things well.  To think that right now, someone is reading it and feeling something unlock in his or her heart is almost too much for my own heart to bear. I am enjoying every moment of watching people get free and be loved.

And still, something is not sitting well with me. I am becoming more and more aware that there are some men and women out there who have fallen into a trap. The trap is thinking that the desire to purchase a tool for change would be enough to fuel the desire to dig in and actually do the hard work of change. If it were that easy, we would all be the superhero of our own stories by now. We would be swiftly destroying forces of darkness, taking our victory stance with our fists on our hips while as the wind blows through the flowing capes on our backs.

Change never comes easy. It always has a cost. Change that isn’t motivated by love always leads to bondage, which is a loss of self in order to gain the world. Growing in goodness–also known as godliness–will cost us our desire for control. And let’s be honest, we don’t like change that we can’t control. But just maybe that cape on our back is a clue as to how goodness works and grows. Just like the wind, you can’t control it, but you can train yourself to become aware when it is present. When you sense that wild presence–that loss of control– you will be able to turn, face it, lean into it, and harness that wild and free wind. It is the power for our change.

As you know, I am never going to tell you how many calories to eat or how many sit-ups you need to do. That’s just a chasing after the wind. I would rather see you learn how to CATCH the wind and MOVE with it as it moves. Then you won’t have the time or the headspace anymore to obsess over your body day after day. Then you will know you can’t neglect either because your body needs all the energy it can get to keep up with that wild and crazy free Wind.

Friends, I am here to tell you that the winds have shifted. A movement of God’s love and grace is coming. Like a wave of wellness crashing onto the shore, get ready to be swept off your tired and weary feet into the sea of God’s grace. His grace is sufficient, and His power is looking for any weakness it can move in on. Will that be yours?

To everyone who has purchased The Wellness Revelation or is planning to, we ask you to plant your feet into the earth. Be still long enough to let the wind catch you and get ready for a movement.

A move of God is coming!

“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” – John 3:8

GET READY! This Friday I will be announcing our NEW Faith first, then food and fitness challenge that transcends the fitness or the food. This time it’s a movement!
