This month we immerse ourselves in God’s Word with all of our heart, mind, and strength to remember our identity in Christ.

Key Points

The world tries to tell us who we are (or confuse us about who we are), but we cling to our identity in Christ.

We get to remind others about their identity in Christ.

What we do with our bodies, to our bodies, and through our bodies is the outworking of our identity as beloved children of God.

We are unoffendable because of the blood of Jesus.

We are influencers, not the influenced.

We trust in the authority of God’s Word.

We are God’s delight, not a disappointment.

Scripture

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God…” John 1:12

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley,  will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation.” 2 Samuel 22:3

“As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.” Luke 7:38

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.” Hebrews 12:1

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.” Isaiah 61:3

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15

Quotes

“Your identity is grounded in God’s work in you, not your work for God.”
― Melissa B. Kruger, Identity Theft: Reclaiming the Truth of our Identity in Christ

“What a difference it would make if we believed ourselves to be ‘called, beloved, and kept.’ By your Spirit, take us further up and further into the riches of these three glorious affirmations.” – Scotty Smith

“God is who He says He is. God can do what He says He can do. I am who God says I am. I can do all things through Christ. God’s Word is alive and active in me.”
― Beth Moore, Believing God

Think of it as a pin on a map—it shows you where you are right now in mind, body, and spirit. This tool is about awareness, not judgment. It doesn’t define you or your worth; it’s simply a way to understand your starting point so you can create a purposeful plan for where you want to go. Remember, you are a good body, beautifully made by God, exactly as you are today. This is about building on that foundation with love and intention.
