It’s good to see you again today! I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s training session. Perhaps you are a little “sore” today. It’s not easy to think bigger thoughts about the good life God has promised us. Some days it makes us sore to do that hard work. Some days our brains will cramp and our hearts will ache as we try to understand the love that God has for us. We see bad things happen and we assume God isn’t good. Together, let’s agree to try and hunt less for understanding and instead press into receiving. That whole “trying to be God” thing gets us into gnarly places, to begin with. A gift is a gift because it is given, not because it is earned. So today, receive the gift—you’re lovely and loved.
