Break up with Diet Culture
and Find Food Freedom!
Do you feel like your relationship with food is complicated? Have you listened to the world’s opinions about what foods are “good” or “bad?” Do you find yourself using food to manage your emotions? Does food have control over your life?
If you don’t want food to be the boss of you, surrender your thoughts and invite the Holy Spirit into your life in a new way by focusing on the results that matter – the health of your heart, mind, and soul – not your weight or any results a scale can measure. Join us for Food Is Not the Boss of Me: 21 Days to Food Freedom.
For 21 days, you’ll learn to get free from the world’s prescription of what you should eat or drink or what your body should look like.
Each day you’ll read a Biblically-based devotional, watch a short video lesson, and participate in an audio experiential activity. Together, these activities will take you about 20 minutes per day, so you can easily fit them into your schedule! Additionally, there are optional daily workouts for every fitness level, a collection of recipes for fresh meal ideas, and a printable version of our Not Your Average Food Journal.
Only takes about 20 minutes a day.

What do you do when you’re feeling emotional?
What’s your experience with food during childhood?
What’s your relationship with your body?
You are someone who is not afraid of food. Achievements, big or small were celebrated with delicious meals and treats. You have fond memories from around the table, and that has continued into adulthood. You give yourself reasons to feast on any day at any time. You know when you’re hungry but don’t know when you’re full. Feasting past fullness has left you disconnected and unsatisfied. If this sounds like you, our Food Is Not the Boss of Me: 21 Days to Food Freedom program is for you! We’ll teach you how to reconnect with your body’s hunger cues and enjoy food as God intended.
You may have grown up in a household where food was either “good” or “bad.” The adults in your home yo-yoed from diet to diet. You never knew if dinner would be delightful and delicious (between parents’ diets) or bland and boring (another round of dieting). In adulthood, you may still have a complicated relationship with food and with your health in general. Food feels like a rival to overcome and a necessity you can’t avoid. So, you work out to negate the impact of food and ignore your hunger cues to feel control over it. You know this isn’t a healthy way to live, but you don’t know any other way. If this sounds like you, our Food Is Not the Boss of Me: 21 Days to Food Freedom program is for you! We’ll teach you how to give your fears about food to God and let Him redefine the role of food in your life.
You might be someone who eats food just because it is in front of you. Your eating habits are far from mindful, as they are often automatic and somewhat mindless. It’s not that you don’t enjoy certain foods or particular meals, but you don’t eat primarily for pleasure or satisfaction. You have a hard time feeling hunger and fullness. The needs of your body are not often on your mind, but you do have moments when you recognize that your body isn’t functioning at its best. You want more energy and mindfulness but don’t know where to start. If this sounds like you, our Food Is Not the Boss of Me: 21 Days to Food Freedom program is for you! We’ll teach you about God’s good design of your body and help you reconnect with your body’s needs so you can feel better and live better!
You are someone who is in tune with your body. You recognize when you’re hungry, when you’re full, and when you’ve eaten just the right amount. You’re aware of the foods that fill you with energy and life and the foods that drain you and leave you depleted. You will joyfully eat a cupcake at a celebration and you’ll just as easily eat roasted vegetables for dinner. You trust God has designed you with the ability to choose foods wisely for whatever your body needs right now. You’re not perfect, but you’re learning more about your food needs every day. If this sounds like you, our Food Is Not the Boss of Me: 21 Days to Food Freedom program is for you! You’ll read daily devotionals to help you dig deeper into this faith-based wellness approach.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF...
You want to break free from the chains of diet culture.
You want to learn how to give food its proper place in your life.
You want to become more thoughtful about the way you consume food.
You want to learn how to invite the Holy Spirit into what you eat and drink.
You want to break free from obsessing about your body or neglecting your body through the way you use food.
BREAK UP WITH DIET CULTURE ONCE AND FOR ALL!
Did you know that 97% of all diets fail? 97%! This means it’s virtually impossible to be told by someone else what to eat. It doesn’t work!
Diet culture tells us that our bodies aren’t good and always need fixing. Instead of focusing on health and wholeness, diet culture steers people to the latest diet trend with false promises of quick weight loss. When we operate within diet culture, success is gauged by numbers on a scale or pant size, not true health.
When you kick diet culture to the curb, surrender your thoughts, and invite the Holy Spirit into your food choices, you can focus on results that truly matter. The health of our heart, mind, and soul is most important – not your weight or any results a scale can measure.
Join us for Food Is Not the Boss of Me and reset your mind and body back into the design God intended!
