Rest & Rebuild Retreat

Come away with us to rest and rebuild your mind, body, and spirit at our first ever Rest and Rebuild Retreat!

Christ came to offer us life and life to the full. How full do you feel? How satisfied do you feel in your body, in your soul, and in your relationships with God and others? Do you continually try to count calories, eat this and not that, and push into fitness or the wisdom of wellness to help you fill a void and make you feel better? Have you attended conferences and retreats in the past where you catch the fire, but then you return home and get stuck in the same old rut?

God made our hearts for growth and good news but our minds get confused by adversity and our bodies hold onto the pain. Do you believe you can truly get better and not just feel better?

When’s the last time you felt rested? Like, truly rested. Not in a “collapse on the couch in exhaustion for a quick Sunday afternoon nap” kind of rest, but rested in a way that gives you true peace and confidence in your calling. In a way that restores your purpose and passion to be exactly who God created you to be and to do what only you can do? In a way that fills you up so you naturally overflow goodness to yourself and others around you?

All of creation is founded on a healthy flow of work and rest. As God’s most dearly loved children, a healthy rhythm of work and rest are not just a good idea for us, but a necessary part of knowing who we are and what we were created for.

In a culture where we wear busyness as a badge of honor and we’re constantly distracted by screens & scrolling, contrasting & comparing, our mountainous to-do lists, and never-ending activities, we’re inviting you to break up with your normal routine. Join us at our first-ever Rest & Rebuild Retreat.

June 9 – 13, 2019

Sky Ranch Camp

Every body shape, size, and ability level will find joy and freedom at our Rest & Rebuild Retreat!
This retreat is open to EVERYONE! It’s not part of our fitness instructor training program.

If you want to restore your purpose and passion to be exactly who God created you to be, and if you want to be filled up so you naturally overflow goodness to yourself and others around you, then this retreat is for YOU!

How is rest & rebuild different from other Christian conferences and retreats?

As followers of Christ, the invitation to transformation and growth is available to all, and the Holy Spirit in us empowers change. As believers in Christ, and His finished work of the cross, we’re immediately given a new nature – new desires and cravings. And yet we live in a fallen world where our old nature and cravings can get us by. But getting by is not the same as living an abundant life.

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. John 10:10 (NLT)

In Christ, we are new creations, but old patterns of thinking, feeling, and choosing are still available to us. It takes a healthy and whole person in mind (thinking), heart (feeling), soul (personal design & desires), and body (the ability to carry out our desires) to live the life Jesus died to give us.

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” – Mark 12:30-31

At Rest & Rebuild Retreat you will learn the power of coherence – forming a unified whole in your mind, body, and spirit. You’ll learn how to love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others from your whole and free self. Coherence is key to radical change!

This retreat is different from all other Christian conferences and retreats because we believe when learning Kingdom ways, it’s important to teach and train your body too!

Every body shape, size, and ability level will find joy and freedom at our Rest & Rebuild retreat!

The foundation of this retreat is rest. We’re certain that you don’t need one more thing to DO! That’s why we’ll set a foundation of rest so that God can begin the work of rebuilding your mind, body, and spirit. Rest gives us the energy to rebuild, but so often we neglect this important life-giving practice when our responsibilities and to-do lists tower over us.

“Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved.  In quietness and confidence is your strength.”
Isaiah 30:15

“On the sixth day of creation God created man and woman in His image and called them good. Then they were instructed to good works; to multiply, fill the earth, subdue it and take dominion.” Genesis 1:27-28

But first….rest.  Our first day on the earth was one of rest.

“So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.” Genesis 2:3

Each of us are God’s good idea, created for good work that flows from a deep well of rest. A rest rooted in God’s presence graces us with the ability to provide good gifts to others in need. If you’re having a hard time giving or doing what’s needed, it’s time to come away with us to rest in the presence of our good God. We promise you will rise to say, “It is well with my soul.”

Each of us are God’s workmanship created for good works (Ephesians 3:20).

From our foundation of rest, you’ll be ready to partner with God in the good work of rebuilding YOU!

With appropriate challenge, you’ll learn how to dream big again and leave behind what’s been weighing you down so you can return home with a greater joy — a joy that comes from knowing the Lord is your strength.

There is good work in the world that only you can do in your unique way with your unique voice! Too many of us look left and right and compare ourselves with someone else’s idea of success. We try to chase a dream without knowing who we really are or taking a moment to pause and question why we do the things we do. Doing for God without examining our hearts and knowing who we truly are leads to burnout. It’s a pace that can’t sustained.

Give God your heart and your body will begin to heal from the inside out. You’ll be inspired to move in joy and to start walking out the Good News that’s inside of you! Come with us as we travel the road back to you in mind, body, and spirit.
