Walk Your Way to Better Health

As technology and modern conveniences increase, we are moving less. This is known as sedentary living. Sedentary living contributes to chronic health conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, and type 2 diabetes as well as mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. Meanwhile,  medical professionals agree that the quickest way to increase our levels of good health is to MOVE! 

Join us for the goal of walking your race at the speed of love, fighting off sickness and disease while setting others free from the bonds of human trafficking!

This unique training program is designed to equip people of all backgrounds and body abilities to move toward better health. Participants will complete a race at a pace that isn’t about striving, performing, or achieving a personal best. This is about improving our body-brain health while having fun achieving a God-sized goal and making Christ known.

People from all over the world will join to train together, supported along the way by Revelation Wellness Founder and CEO Alisa Keeton and other global impact ministry leaders. Choose from various walking training program options, including 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon programs. Runners are welcome to join and adjust their training accordingly.

The training content will use brain science-backed methods to not only grow your physical skills, but empower you to embody your faith, renew your mind, and grow closer to Christ. Most importantly, the Love-Paced Race will teach believers to be healthy and whole lovers of God and people.

The Love-Paced Race is a S.M.A.R.T. goal

Statistics show that people who set a goal are more likely to achieve it when it is S.M.A.R.T.

Choose a walking program.

Train to walk a 5K, 10K, half-marathon or full marathon.

Select a realistically trainable and attainable distance with the option of progressing the distance as you train.

Walking (or using your arms to push a wheelchair) can easily be incorporated into your activities of daily living and is something you can do anytime and anywhere. No equipment is needed.

Determine your timeline. Your training program can be as short as 6 weeks or as long as 6 months.

Training for the Love-Paced Race kicks off on June 3, 2024, but participants are welcome to join at any time. Your training time varies based on which race training program you select:

» 5K  6 weeks of training for $47

» 10K — 12 weeks of training for $77

» Half-marathon — 18 weeks of training for $97

» Marathon — 27 weeks of training for $117

Upon completion of the training program, you’re encouraged to complete a race of your choice to celebrate accomplishing your goal!

We will provide a list of potential race locations, but you are free to choose a race anywhere that works for you. You can simply head out your front door and walk your race, or gather with other participants from your local community for your race. 

A portion of the proceeds will support A21. Together, we can make a difference and help bring freedom to victims of human trafficking.

No, the Love-Paced Race is a training program that prepares you to walk a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, or marathon of your choice. Whether you register for a race in your area or a virtual race, gather friends to walk together, or do this on your own, you’re doing it right!

We have compiled a small list of race options that will be included as part of your Love-Paced Race training content. We also suggest that you search for events in your area, as well as virtual races around the world.
No, the choice to participate in a race event is at the sole discretion of each participant. If you choose to participate in a race, you are responsible for completing your own registration, paying all associated fees, and coordinating any necessary travel and/or lodging.

Fundraising is entirely optional and not required to participate in Love-Paced Race training. As a Love-Paced Race participant, you have the opportunity to raise funds that will further advance the missions of A21 and Revelation Wellness. This is an invitation! If it’s in your heart to help in this way, we will give you all the details you need to know in your program portal.

Absolutely not! The Love-Paced Race training program is for everyBODY, regardless of experience, age, or fitness level. While encouraged, you do not have to participate in a formal race to benefit from the Love-Paced Race training program.

Yes! If you decide to increase your training distance, you can upgrade to a longer training plan at any point up until registration ends on December 15, 2024. While we encourage you to start with a program that feels challenging to you, we want to give participants the flexibility and freedom to keep going.
